As part of a full refurbishment project, Liquasil’s Cladcoat metal cladding paint was specified on all vertical cladding on this industrial estate in Barnsley.
The original cladding was considerably dated, with faded grey and blue paint, making the units look extremely tired.
The refurbishment called for a more modern colour coordinated finish, using Goosewing Grey, with anthracite trims.
Existing high level glazing was over-cladded to create a more modern aesthetic.
All of the cladding panels were first cleaned down with jet wash equipment before over-coating with Cladcoat.
Two coats were applied, which completely covered the old finishes.
Cladcoat is made to order specifically for each project and any RAL or BS colour can be made within 10 days of order as long as you have the colour code that you require.
In common with other manufacturers’ budget cladding paint, no formal guarantee provided with Cladcoat. However, it does have a life expectancy of around 15 years in most conditions. It is suitable for application to a wide range of substrates including steel, asbestos cement and composites.
