Liquasil Specifications

For Professional Specifiers

Better roof coating specifications result in better installations and fewer problems. That’s why Liquail provides professional specifiers with a free specification service.

Site-specific specifications for roof coating works can be compiled from your own survey images, or in certain circumstances, our surveyors will attend site and conduct a coatings suitability survey on your behalf at no charge, as long as it’s for a live project and not for dilapidations purposes.

This service is provided exclusively for professional specifiers, to help avoid unforseen costs once your contractor commences work on your roof coating project.

Our surveyors have telepscopic camera poles and drones so that the need for access platforms is reduced. In most cases though, we strongly recommend the use of cherry pickers or MEWPs so that a thorough inspection can be made.

If an access platform is required, this will be charged at cost.

Bespoke Roof Coating  Specifications

Liquasil provides bespoke specifications whether you have provided your own survey images, or we have attended site.

Conplete the form opposite in confidence and one of our building surveyors will help create a custom specification based on the images you provide.

We’ll then call you by telephone, or if you prefer, arrange a quick video call to go through our findings, before finalising our recommendations and sending you the specification.

Not all roofs can be coated and if this is the case, we will discuss the reasons why and provide written feedback so that you are able to better inform your client.

Arrange A Meeting

We encourange professional specifiers to take advantage of our specification service, even if it’s only to confirm your own findings following a roof survey.

It is far better to determine whether a roof coating is the correct option before you tender the works. Therefore, feel free to send us your survey images using the form opposite. Alternatively, call us on 0121 709 5352 to arrange a virtual appointment at a date and time to suit you.

Request A Survey

Sometimes, additional preparation works or repairs might need to be undertaken as part of a roof coating project and for this reason, we are happy to attend site with you, or on your behalf, to conduct a reassurance survey.

During such a visit, our surveyor will take photographs of the roof which provide a representation of the overall condition of the roof.

From this survey, we can identify specific external defects and make recommendations for repair as part of the coating project.

This in turn results in your tender documents and returns being more accurate, as well as helping to reduce unforseen extra/over costs along the way.

We don’t charge for surveys carried out for professional specifiers. However, where powered access is required, we will ask for this to be provided for the duration of our visit, at your cost.

Whilst there is no obligation to use Liquasil products by utilising any of our survey or specification services, but only Liquasil products will be included in our recommendations.

Owned & Operated By Building Surveyors

Liquasil is owned and operated by Chartered Building Surveyors. This matters, because unlike some roof coating manufacturers who simply make and sell products into various markets, Liquasil’s team actually understand the issues and defects that occur with industrial roofs and gutters.

Our team understands the issues surround dilapidations, from a landlord & tenant perspective as well as from dilapidations surveyors’ persepctive. That’s because in our own Chartered Building Surveying practice, we work on dilapidations claims ourselves.

We also carry out specialist industrial roof surveys direct for clients and as white-label surveys for other building surveying practices.

Our recommendations will be the same as if we were advising our own clients, so you can be 100% confident in our assessment and conclusion.
