For Professional Specifiers
Better roof coating specifications result in better installations and fewer problems. That’s why Liquail provides professional specifiers with a free specification service.
Site-specific specifications for roof coating works can be compiled from your own survey images, or in certain circumstances, our surveyors will attend site and conduct a coatings suitability survey on your behalf at no charge, as long as it’s for a live project and not for dilapidations purposes.
This service is provided exclusively for professional specifiers, to help avoid unforseen costs once your contractor commences work on your roof coating project.
Our surveyors have telepscopic camera poles and drones so that the need for access platforms is reduced. In most cases though, we strongly recommend the use of cherry pickers or MEWPs so that a thorough inspection can be made.
If an access platform is required, this will be charged at cost.
Bespoke Roof Coating Specifications
Liquasil provides bespoke specifications whether you have provided your own survey images, or we have attended site.
Conplete the form opposite in confidence and one of our building surveyors will help create a custom specification based on the images you provide.
We’ll then call you by telephone, or if you prefer, arrange a quick video call to go through our findings, before finalising our recommendations and sending you the specification.
Not all roofs can be coated and if this is the case, we will discuss the reasons why and provide written feedback so that you are able to better inform your client.

Sometimes, additional preparation works or repairs might need to be undertaken as part of a roof coating project and for this reason, we are happy to attend site with you, or on your behalf, to conduct a reassurance survey.
During such a visit, our surveyor will take photographs of the roof which provide a representation of the overall condition of the roof.
From this survey, we can identify specific external defects and make recommendations for repair as part of the coating project.
This in turn results in your tender documents and returns being more accurate, as well as helping to reduce unforseen extra/over costs along the way.
We don’t charge for surveys carried out for professional specifiers. However, where powered access is required, we will ask for this to be provided for the duration of our visit, at your cost.
Whilst there is no obligation to use Liquasil products by utilising any of our survey or specification services, but only Liquasil products will be included in our recommendations.
