Liquasil was established by a team with backgrounds in building surveying and industrial roof defect investigation, following years of experience inspecting ageing commercial roof systems.
Based in the UK, the company formulates and manufactures all products in-house using advanced silicone technology.
Liquasil was the first manufacturer to achieve BBA certification for coatings used on both asbestos and metal roofs, and for a stand-alone cut edge corrosion treatment.

Why Liquasil Was Established
Liquasil was established following years of practical experience inspecting ageing industrial roof systems and investigating common refurbishment failures.
The company was created to provide technically focused coating systems supported by real-world understanding of roof defects, corrosion mechanisms and long-term refurbishment requirements — rather than short-term cosmetic solutions.
Today, Liquasil continues to support contractors, surveyors and commercial property professionals with specification-led refurbishment systems, technical guidance and practical project support.
It was our surveying background that led to us producing systems that challenged the norm in the coatings sector historically.
We were the first to get BBA Approval in our sector, despite competitors being around for many years beforew us.
Through continued development of our popular CPD sessions, we promoted the philosophy of challenging the old, accepted ways of roof refurbishment and cut edge corrosion treatment.
Liquasil took the lead and set a new standard in protective roof coatings, backed up by demonstrable technical excellence.

Made in the UK
Liquasil’s products are made in the UK to our own formulations, to perforn in British weather conditions.
They are formulated by us to address the common defects found on industrial pitched roofs, based on our own surevying experience, rather than what a sales person wants to sell.
Our roof coatings are made from the ground up, using silicone polymers to provide long-lasting protection for industrial pitched roofs.

It allows us to provide techniocal specification guidance based on roof conditions, rather than sales quotas and commissions.

Milestones
In 2013, Liquasil was established and ran alongside a building surveying practice operated by the founders, Robert Street MRICS and David Carter.
Our first product, Asbestoseal gained BBA certification in 2015, quickly followed by Metalseal and Flexlap in 2018. A first in the protective roof coatings sector.
In 2025, David led a management buyout and became 100% owner of the company.
2026 saw a move to larger premises in Redditch.
