End-lap and mid-lap cut edge corrosion was treated using the BBA Approved Flexlap system.

In accordance with installation instructions, the areas to be treated were pressure washed and prepared before priming and coating.

The cleaning process extends beyond the treated areas to avoid contamination of the coating products used, ensuring full adhesion.

In this case, the mid-lap joints are purposely not sealed, since the original butyl weatherproofing remains in-situ beneath.
