Completed in two sections, the premises comprise three large industrial warehouse units. The original finish was delaminating for mthe galvanised substrate in large areas and cut edge corrosion was present at the end laps and mid-lap areas.
Additionally, some of the roof sheets had perforated due to lack of maintenance. Following treatment of the cut edge corrosion, selected mid-lap areas where perforation was already present were reinforced with Liquasil HP Butyl Tape before being overcoated with Metalseal.
The final stage of the roof refurbishment was to apply a single coat of Metalseal 20 to the entire roof surface to provide long term protection to the steel substrate.
